ADVERTISING BUDGET How much are you allocating for your outdoor inflatable advertising? Can you move some funds from other areas you currently spend on your ad campaign? Areas that do not return as well?
You can easily see an increase in calls or foot traffic of anywhere from 10% to as high as 50% with the use of any of our outdoor advertising solutions.
Small Budgets: Consider a one leg air dancer with artwork for under $650 and maybe compliment that with a 7 FT helium sphere to fly 100 feet high on calm wind days for another $499.
This one two punch for just over $1000 will increase your retail traffic or sales quite dramatically.
We are saying, that if you have a 20 FT tall waving and flailing air dancer with your message sewn down the front and a 7 foot helium ball with two lines of text flying 10 stories over your location, that for every 10 people that already walk in the door, we can get another 1, 2, 3 or even 4 more people by simply by getting the attention of the thousands of cars that pass by your location on their daily route each day. (street advertising)
Larger Budgets: If you can can invest just over a couple thousand dollars you can have a custom hot air rooftop balloon designed to mount on your building. These have an outdoor life-span of 2 years and can be created to have the look and feel of your company. Features include an internal lighting system on a timer and changeable large banners.
The next jump in cost would be to create a custom balloon for as little as $2850. You could have an 15 to 25 foot cold air balloon made to any shape you desire. The custom balloons do stand out and are even more effective. They create a landmark status for your location. These aren’t just for grand openings.
Of course check with your city and landlord to make sure that you can use it and if you need a permit. These fall under the category of temporary signs. In practical application, they are allowed a certain number of days per year or quarter and often, even when they are not allowed, many cities do not enforce the restriction. It is important to review this with us to know what to ask when you call your local planning and zoning office regarding your inflatable sign.
In a nutshell, if you can use one, definitely make the investment. You will not be disappointed. We will make sure you get a fair shake on a well made and factory backed unit from the long time industry leader of advertising inflatables, air dancers and rooftop balloons.
HELIUMS A SPECIAL NOTE Advertising Blimp, helium balls and custom parade balloons are very powerful, but you need to consider certain issues:
1) Who will bring it down if the wind kicks up?
2) Where will you store it?
3) Be prepared to patch it as they are subject to gunfire and vandalism.
4) Weather watching. Who will be monitoring the wind and weather to decide if it should go up or be brought down.
5) Helium cost. Helium can be delivered for about $75 a tank at www.airgas.com and spheres require 2/3 a tank and another 1/3 every 3 days. Blimps require from 1 1/2 to 2 1/4 tanks to fill depending on size and require another 30% every 3 days for PVC (great promotional use material) or every 7 days for nylon (for more extended commercial use.
Custom helium balloons are only useful on calm days or for use in parades. For regular aerial advertising choose either a low cost sphere or a blimp. A blimp is designed to fly directly overhead and point toward the wind and can be out in winds over 15 MPH and gusts of about 23 mph. Also, remember, these need to fly at over 60 to 80 feet and generally are flown at 100 to 125 feet high. The air current is smoother, but also 5 MPH faster at that altitude.
Definitely call us to review a helium solution.
BUYER BEWARE: Demand honesty when shopping for an inflatable sign. Ask for references, both satisfied and in our opinion, also ask to talk to customers that had problems. It is important to measure a company by how they resolve problems. Did they remedy any problem pleasantly and thoroughly? Did they stand behind the product? Did they make a genuine effort to please the customer?
Remember, you are shopping for very expensive balloons and some companies maintain straight commission boiler rooms.
Also, note, most companies and/or web-sites are simply re-sellers.
There are many factors to consider. 1) A large volume reseller with a low overhead and strong relationships in the industry can be your best ally as they do not have the overhead that a factory needs to support and therefore can sell for much less. On the other hand, some resellers have a large overhead, large sales staff and an aggressive (and costly) trade show calendar. These are not going to be your best price or relationship.
We want to be your go-to company for honest advice and a fair shake on a well made inflatable sign.
